Free and awesome

Yet another editing challenge!

Original:

Edit:

Again this was all done on the FREE Google editor, Picasa.  I took the image and warmed up the color palate a bit, added a glow affect, pulled out the high light... pretty simple and done in just a few minutes.

Off again On forever

Chris and I had the joy of shooting this lovely couple and the even greater joy of looking forward to shooting their wedding next month!

Theirs is a story of love that almost seems to perfect.  They met in Spanish class and hit it off.  They dated once when they were young, life and youth got in their way.  But the years brought them back together.  Now as they start their life together not only are they in love, best friends but they also work side by side!

Their light humor was fun to watch.

This next set of pictures show case how amazing my husband is and how differently we see the world.

When to choose what

Here we go again on this Tuesday, editing away...

Original:

Edit:

Brought down the shadows a bit, filtered the black and white through a red, and sharpened it out.  All through Picasa, Google's free editor.

So I don't often go Black and white.  I love color so it is hard for me to intentionally choose to mute it.  Black and White can completely enhance a photo I do realize but it is hard to choose!  Today I decided because the black and whit brought her out more than when it was in color I would take the dive.  This lovely and wonderful lady is my sister in law and otherwise known as The Raw Journalist or Rambling Heather.

I Heart Faces Challenge

I heart faces challenge: white

Scavenge! On your face?

So do you remember the craze of saying "your face"?  I'm still guilty of it... it is generally shouted when I am trying to smack talk (an ability I do not posses).  Random but it is what came to mind when I went to write the title.  Anywhoooo, today is another day of following the scavenger hunt!

1. Old and New

2. Night photography

3. Music

This is one of those things that you hear the prompt and automatically thing of it.  I played flute for over 6 years... and haven't picked it up for over 6 years...
Photography love...

4. Cheesy
I wanted to get a super "cheesy" shot of over the top amazing-ness, but settled on cheese

5. Sun
