The wind blows and with resilience they stand. The last of their kind. The last of any kind. No matter the elements, no matter the cost they will not fall.
These few stand in my yard. It has been weeks since it was an environment for them to grow but they won't give up. They won't lay down. Makes me feel like I am in a children's book. Only instead of a resilient asparagus with funny smelling pee (Elf), it is a flowering weed that won't go quietly into the dead night of winter.

Pulled up the light and highlights a tiny bit, warmed the tones, pulled up the saturation, sharpened and then added a pale yellow filter at about 15%
A great wind is blowing, and that gives you either imagination or a headache.
