More than fantastic

It is a rare gift of this part of our family coming to visit.  Chris' family has never lived close.  Just a part of Military life, they move around a lot.  They are on the move once again but this time they are landing not too far from us.  On their road trip to their new home they made the voyage to see our house for the second time. Their first journey through found our house less a kitchen.  We moved in and in less then three days had ripped our kitchen bare.  It took us over 6 months to complete the project.  This visit Chris got to lead them through all the changes.

You don't realize how much you have done till someone is seeing it all at once.

Ps.  For any of those of you in the Raleigh area, I don't know if the Art museum holds events but it would be more than a fantastic venue for a wedding.

  8. Ramblings: Ashley? Which Ashley?

Kristi: Good eye, that is my MIL!

Chic Mama: I know what you mean, They had it all closed down for over a year renovating and it was sad, to have a fun free option to be gone.

  10. Great photos! So great that you got to visit with family. We will be ripping our kitchen out sometime next year, but this is one room we're paying someone else to do. I don't want to be without a kitchen for 6-12 months waiting for my husband to have time to complete it. :)

Thank you for linking up with Wild & Wonderful Wednesday! Sorry I'm so late visiting!
