What happened to all the Christmas?

Even as December falls upon us there still seems like there is fall in the air.  We still have days of over 70 degree weather, to my chagrin, there are still colored leaves about... this freaks me out a bit.  I love Christmas and I love to feel swaddled in the cacoon of crazy that is Christmas and this year... Sadly I am lacking my cacoon feeling.  I tried to walk around the Christmas sections of store yesterday, yes I do just simple walk through the awesomeness that is the Christmas sections, and they were all but taken down.  Walmart had no stocking holders, no twinkle lights, no section of ornaments.  Lowes had only colorful storage containers.  Did I miss something?  Is it already past Christmas?  It made me very sad inside.  Next you will be telling me when I go to have my annual date with my husband of Hot Cocoa and Xmas light viewing it will be too late, everyone will have taken down their xmas lights before Christmas?

I feel like I have to drink four cups of Mulled Wine, Apple Cider and Egg Nog while trying to hum White Christmas and Rockin' around the Christmas tree with Elf playing in the back ground for this Christmas debacle to be rectified... and I just don't know that I have that much stomach room or that much talent.

All the same you get to enjoy these close to Christmas but somehow still look like fall photo session.

  3. Well, Christmas or not, they are fabulous photos! But I know what you mean, the leaves are still on our trees and they are just now turning colors and it's between 70-80 degrees here.
