I shared before about how November is chocked full of b'days! Well these shots are filled with the impromptu party my nieces and I threw for my brother. He happened to come in town just a few days before his actual day. Lost without a car we did want we could with what was in the house... honestly I am pretty proud of what we came up with.

The joys of guilt free eating
You got to love a holiday dedicated solely to food. It is the "it's ok to eat endless amounts and not feel terrible about yourself, till the stomach ache rolls in" holiday. I love it. Every time I eat and eat till I feel about to burst then I eat some more. I'm pretty sure at the end of it all I need to be bumped two pant sizes.

Pulled up the light, hinted more highlights, warmed it up a bit and then put it all through a pail cream filter.

Busy and we like it
So this past week was especially filled with family for the first time since my wedding I saw my parents and my husband's parents in the same week! Loads of fun and even more food. Got to love the holidays. Go to keep this short today so much to do and so little time (I'm talking about your schedule too not just mine!). Hope you had a great Thanksgiving and have an even better week this week!

Nostalgia and lines galore
Fall is coming to an end. Trees lay bare in ever directions. Only a few strong leaves hold tight on their last moments of life before winter swallows them whole. Brisk cool air touches your skin like a kiss as a deep breath of cool air is mingled with cinnamon infused steam from the hot cup of cider laced between tightly clamped fingers.
This is the time of year that makes the desire to read, snuggle by the fire and bake the day away (even if we have no talent). There is something so magical. . . it is like becoming a child once more, if only for a moment. It is a time when feel small is ok and spending time with family brings joy despite the confusion and disagreements.
It is a time when you can not go to sleep and wait in long lines to purchase gifts at really cheap prices. Weaving between hordes of people just hoping that the items circled in the ad in hand are still available.
Today is black Friday.

Overlooked, just like I like it.
Happy Turkey Day! So many people get up set that Turkey day get's over looked by decorations and stores. I am ever grateful for it's disregard. It is one holiday that is not marked. Probably due to not much marketable about "Thankfulness" or "Gratefulness" but all the same I love that it is an over looked holiday. Don't get me wrong I don't like it when people over look Turkey day but more often then not, people aren't the ones forgetting. They are the ones outraged by it's being forgotten. So today, on top of all the world full of things to be grateful for, I am thankful that I get to celebrate and enjoy a simple family and food oriented day of fun.
Enjoy a blessed and wonderfully crazy Thanksgiving!

Adjusted white balance, pulled up lights and warmed it up a bit. Simple: always my preference.
