The morning was a swirl of activities. Women with hot curling irons in hand made their way from one mirror to another. small piles of food lay all around. Small bites taken trying to avoid smudging already applied make up. At the center of all the commotion sits my sister her close friend and bridesmaid Fran slowly and meticulously applying makeup to her radiant face.
